Global Resources

Northeastern provides students with intercultural learning and transformative experience through its various global campuses. DAS is committed to working closely with the University’s global offices to support students’ accommodations globally.

Global Experiences

The Global Experiences Office offers transformative global experiences for learners at all levels. First-year programs may include Global Scholars, London Scholars, and N.U.in. Additional global study experiences include Study Abroad, Dialogues of Civilization, Semester/Summer In,  and Incoming Exchange. Students engaging in global experiences are welcome to contact DAS about applying for accommodations or accessing accommodations globally. Specific guidelines for each global experience program are outlined below.

Please note that not all accommodations can be offered by each program or in every location abroad. It can also take longer to secure available accommodations in other countries, so it is important to review your options and request accommodations as early as possible. Housing accommodations may vary by global site and not all accommodations approved or implemented at the Boston campus may directly translate to an abroad program, given the differences in culture, disability law, program requirements, and campus structure. It is therefore strongly encouraged that you connect with your DAS specialist and program advisors directly to discuss these considerations as soon as possible.

N.U.in

The N.U.in Program is a first-semester experience where students will engage in the experiential learning model at one of Northeastern’s N.U.in global campuses. Please reach out to your specific N.U.in site for more information about how to submit your accommodation documentation. Please submit documentation to the DAS so your accommodations are in place upon your return to campus. Contact the DAS with any questions and include your N.U.in site location.
